Responsibilities:

· Coordinate the delivery of the organisation’s Mission Zero Route Map by 2030, including the creation, monitoring and reporting of associated action plans, and working with members of the Executive Team and colleagues across the organisation, to build the capacity, expertise and engagement required to achieve organisational net zero status.

· Ensure that Mission Zero budgets and projects are aligned with annual operational planning and that financial and programme procedures and reporting are adhered to with budgets and delivery plans being met.

· Lead operational level engagement with Scottish Government Climate Emergency teams and partner public environmental organisations to develop a shared best practice for net zero organisations.

· Develop and support the necessary partnerships and engagement with other public bodies, such as local authorities and key private sector partners and stakeholders to form networks and share best practice, capitalising on future climate related opportunities arising from the Green Recovery and nature restoration agendas.

· Work with the National Park Authority Behaviour Change Manager and Communications Team to help inform and advise engagement, education and communications targeted at tackling the climate crisis.

· Identify improvement opportunities, including efficiencies and external funding opportunities, and deliver innovative solutions to capitalise on these.
