Job Title: Seasonal Ranger Team Leader
Salary: £31,689 - £37,093 (Band C1) per annum
Working Hours: 35 hours per week, worked on a rota system
Contract: March to September

Are you a charismatic, committed and enthusiastic leader with a proven track-record in countryside management? Do you enjoy working as part of an energetic and forward-looking team, and with wider stakeholders? We have an exciting opportunity for a Seasonal Ranger Team Leader position for the 2023 summer season.
This a rare opportunity to take a leading role in a beautiful part of the country. You will support delivery of our visitor management programme, manage a team of Seasonal Rangers and be responsible for the day to day running of an efficient and effective team delivering the Ranger Service priorities.
We are looking for someone that has:
- A HND or equivalent qualification in a related discipline; or equivalent level experience within a similar role
- Experience of managing staff and or volunteers
- A track record in achieving targets and manage workloads
- Experience of working within health & safety legislation
- Excellent organisational skills
- Articulate with excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills
- Good ICT skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to analyse information and produce reports
- Problem solving, flexibility & resourcefulness
