As a vital part of NHS Scotland, NHS National Services Scotland’s purpose is to support Scotland’s Health. We do this by providing a range of specialised support services which we develop and improve in partnership with our many stakeholders.

In order to meet the increasing demand from internal NSS customers, Health Boards and the Scottish Government, NSS Digital & Security are seeking to recruit a number of business analyst positions in the Digital Office Team – with permanent, fixed term & secondment positions available.

Using the variety of Business Analysis tools and techniques, the postholder will be responsible for helping our customers plan and implement their strategies for health and wellbeing of the people of Scotland.

You will be responsible for :

• for iterative design which meets the needs of the business and aligns with the strategic direction of the organisation

• understanding our customer business needs and be able to creatively shape and refine business solutions to meet those needs

• guiding and advising clients to help them develop solutions that are aligned to the future technology architecture

You must be educated to higher level or have equivalent experience working in a project delivery environment. Be able to work collaboratively across multi functional teams and have ability to quickly establish your credibility with customers and staff at all levels. The post holder must have working knowledge of agile methodology and be able to apply the agile mindset to all aspects of their work.
