Our jobs are open to women only (Equality Act 2010 Work Occupational Requirement Exception, Schedule 9 Paragraph 1).
NLWA provides support and refuge to women and children affected by domestic abuse in the Cumbernauld and Kilsyth area. The staff team is based in our office in central Cumbernauld and our core hours are 9 a.m. - 4.30 p.m. Monday – Friday.
Holidays - 43 days of which 9, including 6 Public Holidays, are fixed

Children and Young People’s Support Worker
The successful applicants will provide support to children and young people affected by domestic abuse in the Cumbernauld and Kilsyth area. The post is based in our office in central Cumbernauld and the postholder will deliver support in local schools and in the community.
Salary: £12051.48 (under review) plus flat rate payment for on-call rate evenings and weekends (as required)
Hours: 17.5 hours a week 9 a.m. - 12.30 p.m. Monday – Friday
These posts are funded by the National Lottery Community Fund. The initial contract is for 14 months from the date of appointment with any extension dependent on continued funding being secured.
