Are you looking for a role which is flexible enough to fit around your studies? Do you want to gain valuable hands on experience in your chosen field? Then why not have a look at what Sense Scotland can offer you as a Relief Support Practitioner.

Currently recruiting for Relief Support Practitioners in both Dundee and Forfar, we at Sense Scotland are keen to develop our Relief Pool and are looking for individuals who are flexible, covering shifts at short notice when required as well as covering planned shifts for annual leave etc.

You will be working with people on a 1:1 basis or as part of the team helping to support and assist people in their day to day lives, whether it be cooking, communicating, personal care, shopping, going out for the day, cinema, arts, bowling or walking. We take the time to get to know the people we support and take a person-centred approach to care. You will be supporting people in their personal home and working various shift patterns. No two days are the same!

Experience is not necessary as a robust training package is in place to assist you through your first few weeks and further into your career. We provide 1:1 on the job training, in-house classroom style training with our experts and opportunities to expand your skills and knowledge via our e-learning platform. We can also provide support to gain additional qualifications through our own SVQ centre.

This is a great opportunity to gain further experience, take on your first role in health and social care and can work easily alongside your other commitments. If you have a genuine passion to make a difference and realise the importance of a smile, and the impact you could have of enabling the individuals we support to take part in something they love then we want to hear from you.
