We are looking for a fun, creative, enthusiastic team player who is highly motivated to plan and organise exciting sporting opportunities for veterans with sight loss. You will have experience of facilitating groups with the ability to build rapport quickly and be an effective networker.

You will have a passion or interest in specific sports or physical activity with a desire to motivate individuals to get more active. You will be willing to travel to engage with veterans and other organisations to increase access to sporting opportunities across Scotland.

You will work to increase access to sporting opportunities within veterans own local communities, building upon the comradeship that the veteran’s community often enjoy. The role will be key in identifying sporting opportunities and developing partnerships that veterans with sight loss can engage with, ensuring accessibility and supporting participation in these. Another key part of the role is building positive and sustainable partnerships that benefits veterans and their families within their local areas. The job also involves recognising and supporting the organisation with other events/activities that may encourage social and peer support opportunities.
