St Mary’s Kenmure (SMK) is a secure care centre which provides a safe, secure and therapeutic environment for the care and education of young people who are referred to us. Secure Care aims to provide intensive support, care, including health interventions and education to keep young people safe, meet their presenting needs and address risks, improve wellbeing and work collaboratively towards positive outcomes. Located in the North of Glasgow in Bishopbriggs, SMK is within easy commutable distance from cities and towns located in Scotland’s central belt

Upholding the rights of our young people, advocating for them and ensuring they are given relational, participative opportunities to grow and develop as individuals, is at the core of our approach to care, education, specialist interventions and health. Our teams contain various professional disciplines, all committed to working collaboratively and integratively with internal and external others to #KeepThePromise and drive the work of change to shift our policies, practice and culture.

You may be passionate about assisting us embed our life changing, evidence based interventions, or fascinated by detail and assisting us change how we gather and interrogate data leading to service improvements or you may be keen to shape our domestic supervisor role to assist our domestic staff maintain clean, homely living environments. The one constant is that our young people deserve relational, emotionally resilient people whose focus and motivation, regardless of role, is to make a difference in the lives of young people.
