St Mary's Kenmure and SMK are embarking on a new and exciting partnership, we are looking for two Service Managers who will be responsible for the the management of services whilst working closely with the Head of Service, Head of Care and the Senior Management Team.

St Mary’s Kenmure is a secure facility that offers a controlled, safe and secure environment for the care and education of young people who are referred from the Courts and Children’s Hearings. Young people from all over Scotland and England come to St Mary’s. We care for 24 young people, in four house units each housing 6 young people.

Each young person is entitled to and will receive a high standard of care from a team of experienced and qualified staff who strive to meet their needs and ensure their health and safety. We also offer a wide range of academic and vocational subjects to allow our young people to learn and develop during their stay, along with a variety of recreational facilities including a seven aside football pitch, gymnasium, fitness suite and a swimming pool.

Our Campus is located in the North of Glasgow in Bishopbriggs. It is in commutable distance for Glasgow, Edinburgh and Stirling. Further information about St Mary’s can be found online at www.stmaryskenmure.org.uk.

For the role of Service Manager, we are looking for dynamic and inspiring individuals to join our team. You must have a range of both Professional and Personal qualities. You must be self-motivated, work well in a team, with an ability to work independently. Being open minded and having the ability to listen and be sympathetic is crucial to this role. The Service Manager will play a pivotal role in the development of the services across St Marys and SMK Services and will support the strategic development of the services under their remit. The successful candidate will have significant managerial and operational experience of secure care/residential care, extensive Budget Management and a minimum of three years experience in an operational management role. They must be SSSC registered, with a degree in Social Work or relevant Social Work Qualification along with a Management Qualification at SCQF Level 9

The salary for this post is £55,000 to £59,000 inclusive of on call allowances, based on 37 hours per week. The shift pattern will be 5 days over 7 days including weekends and public holidays.
