Community Links Co-ordinator

£26,985 per annum

(dependent on relevant skills and experience)

37.5 hours per week – based in Edinburgh

The exciting challenges of this role include the successful delivery and development of the Sustrans’ Community Links programme. Sustrans works closely with partners to develop projects and provide advice and support to create quality places and this role will be responsible for overseeing the assessment of applications, allocating funding to projects, reviewing designs, systems are in place and ensuring all funded projects are completed on time.

Educated to degree level or equivalent, you will have experience of project management, including delivering on time and within budget, of grant programmes, of working with a wide range of partners and of resource allocation. Your excellent written and verbal communication skills, interpersonal, influencing and persuasion skills are essential to build successful working relationships and your motivational attitude will enhance your ability to manage and develop a team. You will also have experience of design, delivery and development of cycling and walking infrastructure projects and be committed to the promotion of sustainable transport.
