Mechanic

Tayside Contracts is seeking to employ a mechanic at Fairmuir Workshop.

This post is for permanent nightshift although applications for permanent day shift may be considered.

The role involve the maintenance of a diverse fleet of vehicles and plant for Tayside Contracts and our other external customers. You will have served a recognised and relevant apprenticeship and hold a relevant City & Guilds 381, parts 1, 2 & 3 or equivalent SVQ qualification.

Salary is dependent on skills and experience.

A current driving licence, Category B, is essential and Category C1, C or C+E is desirable but training to get to this level will be provided

The Nightshift working pattern is Monday - Thursday 11.30pm -7.30am AND Sunday into Monday 12.00am - 7.30am during winter months .As well as Sunday into Monday 12.00am - 7.30am AND Monday - Wednesday 9.00pm -7.30am during summer months.

The Dayshift working pattern is Monday - Thursday 7.30am -3.30pm AND Fridays 7.30am -3.00pm
