Job Description

We are looking for an enthusiastic, engaging, and analytical individual to join our
Team as an Improvement and Performance Officer. As part of Support Services, and reporting to the Senior Improvement Officer, you will spend your time supporting a wide range of improvement projects across Business Services including self-evaluation.

The Business Services Directorate comprises a number of different services which support the work of the council as a whole: Customer & Digital Services; Finance; Internal Audit; Legal & People; Procurement; and Property & Facilities Management.

The successful candidate will demonstrate a passion for improvement and have experience of improvement methodologies and techniques, possess excellent analytical, project management and communication skills and will be able to work with stakeholders across the Council as well as with management and operational teams. You will be self-motivated, with a positive approach, able to multi-task/prioritise, be experienced in using technology/digital skills to interact and engage with teams and individuals and have an innovative approach in creating new ways of working.
