Human Resources helps all our other services and departments to recruit, train and develop our employees. HR also works with managers and colleagues to identify staff for development and promotion, helping to ensure everyone contributes effectively and efficiently, whilst making sure we get right the tricky balance between work, productivity and home life. HR helps plan future workforce needs/organisational development and plays a central role in the administration of employment law, grievance and disciplinary procedures. Equality, fairness and diversity are also key areas, as are payroll and pay and benefits.
