Tay Cities Training Needs Advisor – Business Partnership Team
Fixed Term until 30th March 2030
Salary: D&A10, £34,155 - £37,128 per annum

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced and motivated individual to undertake a key role in delivering a new project being led by the College as part of the Tay Cities Deal.

With a key focus on supporting regional economic growth, the post holder will act as an ambassador for the education organisations across the Tay Cities Region to support the SME business market to establish their key skills gaps and support them to access training funded through the SME Skills Tay Cities Fund.

Whilst the main base for the roles will be Dundee and Angus college the post holders will have the opportunity to co-locate across the wider college and universities whilst working alongside a host of other agencies and stakeholders, to help successfully deliver on outputs aligned with the project.

With a focus on Re-skilling and Up-skilling you will be part of a future focused team with a passion for enterprise and partnership working.  You will work in a targeted, fast-paced environment and you will be the face and personality of the College and University business offering.

The post holder will offer guidance on the various training available whilst assisting businesses in creating tailored development plans, co-ordinating training and monitoring progress.  The post holder will participate in market research activities ensuring they are up to date with industry trends and developments to provide relevant advice to clients and also participate in awareness-raising events.

The post holder must have a proven track record in working in a business support and targeted environment and have substantial experience in building and maintaining client relationships and business partnerships.

You must have excellent communication skills, an entrepreneurial approach, and the ability to build strong and meaningful relationships with partners and clients.
