Job Description

Based at Angus House, Orchardbank Business Park, Forfar.

This job is workstyle 5 - Flexi.

You will have the opportunity to benefit from our flexible and agile working practices. This means you will work from home for part of your week and spend some time in council buildings to best suit your work, meetings and collaboration.

The Digital Team play a vital role in the design, redesign, rollout, and support of Angus Council digital solutions – contributing directly to the implementation and success of the Angus Digital Strategy and successful channel shift.

This position within the Digital Team – Digital Enablement and IT – offers the opportunity to support on a wide range of projects. The Digital Service Design Officer will be expected to work across the Council with stakeholders, understanding the products we use to deliver digital solutions, and provide ongoing support for those solutions.

The applicant will be expected to be self-motivated, aware of current and planned Angus Council developments in technology and have a keen interest in the importance of good online services – and the techniques used to ensure continuous improvement.
