Job Description
Based at Angus House, Orchardbank Business Park, Forfar.
We have an exciting opportunity for a creative, enthusiastic and innovative individual to join the Development Planning Team. As a Planning Officer, you will be passionate about design and creating interesting places that are full of identity and character for the people and communities of Angus.
You will lead and collaborate on urban designand placemaking, playing a crucial part in implementing the Local Development Plan to help address climate change, as we adopt a green infrastructure and people first approach to design.
As we strive to strengthen the children and young people of Angus’s voices, views and aspirations for their region, you will be involved in shaping and delivering on a wide range of innovative work, including the development of a net zero neighbourhood strategy and toolkit with partner organisations.
The post is a career grade post and is suitable for graduates, recent graduates or experienced officers. Remote and flexible working is available for this post.
