Teacher (Geography)

Job Description

Based at Arbroath High School, Keptie Road, Arbroath.

We are seeking a suitably qualified and enthusiastic teacher to teach Geography from S1 through to S6. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of excellent teaching, an inclusive approach and commitment to fostering a love of learning in all pupils. In addition to bringing ambition and vision for the learning and teaching of Geography, the teacher of Geography will be ready to contribute with enthusiasm to the wider life of the school.

The department is well resourced and has long offered educational visits and extra-curricular experiences; the successful applicant for this post will be committed to organising and leading such activities.

Probationer teachers in the Teachers Induction Scheme due to qualify in June 2024 are eligible to apply.

Appointments will be subject to teachers obtaining full registration.
