Applicants should note that:-

Argyll and Bute Council's Revenues and Benefits Service are looking to recruit a Benefit Assessor to work in the Benefits Team.  This is a temporary full-time post to cover a period of Maternity Leave until 31 March 2024 and can be based in any Argyll and Bute location.  

To support the Benefits Team to provide high quality service to users by ensuring an efficient and effective service is provided to benefit claimants.  Take all appropriate steps to accurately process, review and validate new claims, or changes in circumstance in respect of Housing and Council Tax Reduction claims; or Discretionary Housing Payment claims; or Scottish Welfare Fund claims; in accordance with the relevant legislation and within agreed timescales.
