Argyll and Bute Council's Revenues and Benefits Team are recruiting 2 temporary Debt Recovery Officers within the Corporate Debt Recovery Team until March 2025. These are full time posts working 35 hours per week and can be based in Campbeltown or Lochgilphead.

You will provide a high quality service by carrying out a variety of debt recovery and administrative duties. This includes assisting in the administration and the collection of debt for the Council including Council Tax and Non Domestic Rates arrears, Housing Benefits Overpayments and Sundry Debt from and Business Improvement District (BIDS) recoveries. Provide progress reports as required, and maintain relevant electronic filing systems and statistics, as well as responding to enquiries from other services and from members of the public in connection with their arrears.
