A great opportunity has arisen for an experienced HR professional or for someone looking to take a step up in their career to adviser level. The Employee Relations Adviser position gives the individual exposure to providing advice and support to managers on issues such as discipline, grievance, performance management, absence management and conditions of service. They will also be required to undertake fact finding for disciplinary cases, document their findings and present their investigation at a formal disciplinary meeting.

The post is full time; 35 hours per week, Monday to Friday. The base for the post is negotiable within Argyll and Bute. Remote/ Hybrid options will be considered for this post and we will do our best to find the right fit for the successful applicant, some presence in the office (and wider Argyll and Bute area, from time to time) will be required.
** This is a temporary post covering a period of up to 1 year from the start date. It may be filled on a secondment basis by an employee wishing to gain experience/career development and will be at the discretion of the employee’s director.
