Administrator Purchase Ledger/Sales Ledger (18/40M) (Fixed Term)

The Billing, Ordering and Payments Team within Finance & Procurement are now currently seeking to recruit a new Purchase Ledger/Sales Ledger Administrator.   Based in Dumfries (although home working possible), you will play a key role in developing and administering our Mosaic and Integra systems.

 

The main responsibilities and activities of the post are set out within the attached job description and include liaising with Service Departments and External Partners to successfully develop our system.  You will primarily be undertaking a number of duties in relation to the administration of billing and payment cycles on behalf of our colleagues in Social Work Services on Mosaic.  There will also be additional duties within our Integra Sales Ledger system.

                                                                                                                 

The successful candidate will be self-motivated and adaptable with good organisational and interpersonal skills.  You should be able to work on your own initiative and as part of a busy team, have good communication skills, and be able to develop and maintain good working relationships with staff at all levels.

 

Candidates should be a suitably qualified with extended financial experience.  You should have previous experience of Mosaic and Integra, be competent in the use of Microsoft Office systems and have knowledge of relevant legislation and Council policies as well as understanding the issues of service user confidentiality.

 

This Full Time post is for an initial Fixed Term period of 6 months covering Maternity Leave although may be extended up to 1 year.

 

This post may be suitable for secondment.  Agreement from your line manager must be sought before applying for this post.
