Job Description
Working in a Hybrid style, you will be based at home and Dundee House. You will work full time, 37 hours per week on temporary basis until 31 March 2025.

Requirements
You will have a degree or equivalent in relevant subject area or appropriate equivalent relevant experience.
Responsibilities
You will play an effective role within the Corporate External Funding and Major Projects Unit including the development of key revenue and capital projects that support City and Council Plan priorities. These include promoting external funding opportunities corporately and citywide; lobbying in relation to future funding; leading on external funding bids; coordinating the development of business cases; supporting project implementation; supporting the delivery of projects and ensuring that external funding is managed effectively and compliantly across the Council and in line with funder requirements.
This post will be deployed to the management and delivery of the UK Shared Prosperity Fund Investment Plan (UKSPF). You will, in line with any grant offer from the UK Government for the UKSPF undertake duties that support the development, delivery and monitoring of the UKSPF Investment Plan.
The Individual
You will have experience of project/programme development and management and partnership working, along with experience of developing successful funding bids. Additionally, you will have knowledge of relevant local / national strategies, policies and/or funding programmes together with experience of managing / monitoring the use of external funding, budget management, experience of collating data and reporting on outputs and outcomes.
You will have excellent oral and written communication skills in addition to good IT, leadership and organisational skills.
You will have the ability to work out-with office times and travel within the UK and occasionally overseas for conferences and meetings.
