Working in a hybrid style, based at home and Dundee House office, you will work full time, 37 hours per week, this is temporary fixed term for 6 weeks starting approximately August 2023.

You will be working towards certificate, or diploma, or undergraduate degree within higher education (at the University of Dundee, Abertay University, or Dundee & Angus College) in a relevant discipline.Responsibilities
As a member of the Sustainability and Climate Change team, this six- week student internship post will be focusing on the collection, management and digitization of Climate Change and Energy data within the Council.
To progress the energy transition in Dundee, we need to measure and visualize the elements of the local energy system including heat, power, mobility and product manufacturing. Through the better data visibility, the post will enable the Dundee Climate Leadership Group to make better informed decisions for net zero planning in Dundee.The Individual
You will have experience of working within a team, knowledge of sustainable development issues, particularly climate change.
You will have the ability to communicate effectively through a variety of methods including oral and written, the ability to research and write clear and concise reports with recommendations.
You will have experience of information management, database and or spreadsheet skills along with IT Skills, including experience of Microsoft Office packages.
