Days and Hours of Work:
Monday - Friday, with some Saturday work on a varying rota system.
Starting and finishing times are flexible, and days of work can be negotiated.

We are looking for an enthusiastic Community Development Assistant to join East Lothian's Connected Communities team at the Longniddry Community Centre.  Working within a busy community centre you will be involved in a range of tasks assisting bookings, community groups, café, good cleaning practices, admin and day to day enquiries.  This is an excellent opportunity to support community members and groups through bookings and groups to improve their health and wellbeing, reduce social isolation and support an extremely valuable community resource. Flexible working is required as some evening and weekend covered required.

Job Details

To support and assist in the day to day delivery of front line Connected Community service, in accordance with local and Council procedures.

Able to demonstrate equivalent knowledge, skills and competencies gained through previous experience .
