Job Description
We are looking to recruit a Lead Job Analyst to join the HR team who will be responsible for evaluating all job remits within the Council in line with the Scottish Council’s Job Evaluation Scheme to evaluate factors and determine profile allocation outcomes.
You will establish job facts by conducting interviews and researching existing documentation. Document job details for approval and undertake assessments using paper and computerised job evaluation procedures, ensuring that assessments areboth thorough and objective. You will also handle all routine job detail related enquiries regarding the interpretation and application of the Scheme and the management reviewprocess in general.
You will also be responsible for updating the database of job details and carrying out general administrative tasks for the HR Strategic Lead.
To apply you must have an HNC/SVQ3 level qualification, ideally in a Human Resources related subject. Jobholders must be IT literate and conversant with the Microsoft Office suite; have strong interpersonal skills; and beable to objectively analyse, critically assess and present information to colleagues. Experience of job evaluation and/or interviewing, ideally using the Scottish Council’s Job Evaluation Scheme is essential.

Responsibilities
