Job Description
The Payments Assistant will provide clerical support for the Payments Section
Requirements
Process transactions on the Financial Management System (FMS) and the Travel & Accommodation booking system
Complete the scanning and filing of documentation related to the FMS – AR, AP & PMS Operate the telephone helpline (as assigned)
Administer the mail in and mail out for the service
Administer goods receipting (GRN) actions on the FMS – Procurement Management System (PMS)
Assist with the administration and development of other Payments systems
Assist with training as required
Actively participate in the team meetings
The Individual
Clerical/administration experience
3 SQA standard grades or equivalent at level 3 or above including English and Arithmetic
Procedural skills
Effective organisational skills
Knowledge of word-processing and spreadsheet applications, preferably Microsoft Word and Excel.
Strong customer care skills and focus
Self-confidence
