We are looking for an enthusiastic and customer focussed individual to join the Talent and Organisational Development team as a Learning and Development Assistant.

One post (permanent) will work within our Learning Technologies Team assisting the Learning and Technology Leads with the creation, development and implementation of all online learning activities on LearnNL. This is an exciting opportunity to join this small team and be part of the next phase of development of LearnNL.

The second post (temporary) will work with the Senior Learning and Development Senior Adviser Officer and the Leader and Talent Development Manager focussing on supporting the development and delivery of a wide range of learning and development opportunities across all Services with a focus on behavioural and technical skills training, mandatory and regulatory development (including delivery of training on machinery and equipment) and the implementation of vocational qualifications. You will also assist in the design and delivery of learning and development activities using a blended approach including developing e-learning modules.

You must be self-motivated and enthusiastic with extended experience of working within a learning and development environment. You will have excellent presentation skills and be able to communicate with various group sizes and be confident facilitating on Microsoft Teams.

An HNC, SVQ3 or equivalent is essential for this post.

This role will work on a hybrid model of home-based and office-based work within the Civic Complex, Motherwell.

The temporary post is until 31 December 2024.
