Routing and Data Officer

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic, customer focused and confident individual to join our team in this key role, focusing on ensuring the administration and management of routing our fleet of vehicles and management systems in line with legislative and service delivery requirements and maximise performance.

You will assist in the delivery of a high-quality professional service that maximises the resources available, delivers positive outcomes and meets the needs of our customers and service users

With an SVQ3/HNC/Apprenticeship in an appropriate subject, you will have extended work experience within a relevant field and be able to demonstrate continuous professional development. You must have experience of maintaining and monitoring computerised systems, supervisory experience and experience of routing software is desirable.

You will be responsible for the efficient deployment of the Bus Fleet personnel and transport resources under your control to ensure a satisfactory standard of service delivery.

A knowledge of route management and the ability to demonstrate an understanding of relevant legislative requirements is preferable. You should also have excellent organisational and IT skills and be an effective communicator.

You must also have experience of providing management information and demonstrate excellent analytical skills to allow the exploration, evaluation and interpretation of information and opinions. Due to the varied nature of this role, you must also have the ability to cope with multiple and changing demands and meet tight deadlines.

Work Pattern - Required to work a shift pattern over 5 days

*For all casual/sessional roles, you will receive 12.1% of your hourly rate for every hour worked in total recompense for annual leave, including public holidays. These rates will be indicated separately on your payslip.  You will only be paid for the hours that you work.
