Occupational Therapy Team, Pullar House, Perth

As we develop our intake and community team, an exciting opportunity has arisen for a full-time Senior Clerical Assistant to join the Occupational Therapy Admin Team.

We are looking for someone with a flexible approach and a broad range of administrative skills who can respond to the demanding and changing needs of our service.

If you can demonstrate experience of team work and multi-disciplinary working you will fit right in.

An important part of the role will involve information gathering and co-ordination of Occupational Therapy support to identify the most appropriate outcome for service users who have been referred to us.

The successful applicant will assist the team in maintaining vulnerable people in the community by providing a range of administrative tasks and support the smooth running of the teams day to day operation. 

The Individual

The ideal candidate will be motivated and engaging, and possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Effective time management is essential.

It would be desirable if you have clerical and typing skills, knowledge of Budgets/Finance and be experienced working with a variety of software packages including AIS & PECOS. 

Customer care is crucial in this role and you need to evidence sensitivity/empathy to the needs of others. 
It would be desirable if you have experience dealing with challenging behaviours, bereaved customers and complaints.

We are looking for a colleague who has the ability to work flexibly in a variety of situations and meet tight deadlines with accuracy and have proven organisational and prioritisation skills.
