Role Purpose

An opportunity has arisen in SBC’s Corporate Learning & Development Team to contribute to the ongoing delivery of training across the council. The role is focused on providing excellent administrative support to the team and to colleagues across the council. Principal duties will include organising training events, advertising and managing bookings, ensuring that training events are correctly recorded and training records accurately maintained. The postholder will be a highly motivated and organised individual who is able to work effectively as part of a team, and who is also confident in working independently.

Under the direction of the Learning & Development Advisor, provide clerical support to the Organisational Development Team to enable the efficient and effective delivery of Corporate and Service performance objectives in line with guidelines, to high standards of customer care and best practice.

Essential

A minimum of three National 5 grades, or equivalent, including English and Maths
