Role Purpose

The Scottish Borders Council has a great opportunity within its Fleet Management Department for a dynamic and enthusiastic Fleet administration assistant. Working within a small team of friendly administration professionals and reporting into the Fleet Services Officer you will get involved in all sorts of new and exciting projects including the production and distribution of monthly KPI reports. You will be supporting and covering multiple functions including, Fleet Reception, Hire Desk, Parts and Pool Cars. We will provide staff training and development to support the successful applicant and that's not all, we also offer excellent terms and conditions of employment including Local Government Pension & Life Insurance.

Essential

Standard English, Maths and IT skills with a good understanding of the use of Microsoft packages. A current driving licence and use of a vehicle is an essential requirement of this post. * If you have a disability which precludes you from holding a drivers licence, Scottish Borders Council will take into account its responsibility to make reasonable adjustments to allow for your disability.
