Job Description

We have an opportunity for a Finance Service Centre Assistant to assist and support the Finance Service Centre Team. This role will ensure key performance areas, both customer and service delivery targets are met across Accounts Payable and Receivable, as well as the Non Domestic Rates service.

Assisting in the ongoing development and improvement of transactional finance processes to deliver an efficient best value service that supports the strategic objectives of the Council. This role will provide support across all Council Services to assist with billing and collection of Council delivered services, using our central finance system.

The successful candidate will be good with figures and have the skills needed to work in a customer focussed finance environment.

Requirements

The preferred candidate will be required to complete a Basic Disclosure check prior to a formal offer being made by West Dunbartonshire Council.

Responsibilities
