Job Description
West Dunbartonshire Council is looking to recruit a Members Secretary to provide a high level, confidential secretarial and administrative service to the Elected Members of the Council.
We are looking for someone with excellent administrative skills, who is highly organised and proactive. The post holder should be able to strive to overcome problems through collaborative working and use their own initiative to deal with complex, confidential and sensitive issues in the absence of the Senior Democratic Services Officer. You must also be a highly effective communicator and be able to make informed decisions to ensure that tasks are progressed and prioritise conflicting demands.
Applicants must have an HNC/SVQ3 in a relevant discipline or equivalent relevant experience.
This role is suitable for hybrid working however this would be discussed/agreed in line with office cover.
