Reporting to the IT Service Centre Manager, this is a post within our IT Services structure and is critical in the delivery of effective and efficient IT Services. As an IT Engineer you will be responsible for providing a first class technical service to all IT customers, you will be the escaltion point of contact for our IT Service Desk and will help maintain West Lothian Councils IT Infrastructure using the latest technologies to provide fixes and request fulfilment.

The post will work closely with the IT Service Centre Manager, Service Delivery Manager, Project Managers, IT Service Desk and other colleagues within IT Services covering areas including providing an excellent IT service provision to all of our customers.

IT Services structure is based on ITlLv3 and you must have a solid understanding, knowledge and experience of good practice.

Applicants will have proven experience implementing and supporting client and server management technologies in a multi-site, multi-security profile compliance organization, including a minimum of three years working within a Microsoft SCCM environment.
