Job Description
Building Services deliver both housing, non-housing repairs and refurbishment programmes as part of a capital strategy using multi-disciplinary teams of approximately 400 operatives and 80 staff.
To maintain our high level of service, we require a highly motivated joiner to work as a member of the Building Services trade team to assist in repair and refurbishment of our current housing and non-housing stocks.
You will work flexibly to support site management and officers within the council, to support the efficient service delivery to both internal and external customers.
You should be an experienced team member who is able to work on your own initiative with minimal support and guidance.
The post involves working to tight deadlines with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail required.
You should be able to demonstrate excellent organisational, communication skills and have the ability to work outdoor and at heights.
You will be expected to carry out all types of joinery work.
You must be a time served tradesperson (documents will be required) and hold a full current driving licence.
