Working hrs is 36hr week (9 day Fortnight) Monday-Thursday 7:54-16:30 and every second Friday 7:54-16:30

Building Services deliver both housing and non-housing repair and refurbishment programmes using multi disciplinary teams of approx 400 operatives.

The Team coordinator will manage teams of Operatives on a daily basis in the delivery of capital and revenue programmes ensuring all works are executed in a planned, safe and efficient manner.

They will be responsible for overseeing projects/repairs/planned maintenance works from construction to final completion and ensuring on time, on budget and safety targets are met.  Ensuring that productivity and performance targets are being achieved and taking appropriate action as necessary.

The coordinator will also be responsible for the management of council policies including sickness absence and discipline

You will assist with the continuous improvement and the development of efficient and effective services whilst maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction.

A good knowledge of current Building Standards, regulations and systems is necessary.

Working knowledge is essential of current building legislation, Construction Design Management Regulations, Health and safety regulations and experience of Project Management within a property and construction environment and delivery of programmes within defined timescales with limited supervision.
