Variable Lecturer – Science
Salary: £19.33 - £23.83 per hour plus preparation and marking allowance and holiday pay
Campus: Kingsway

We would like to add to the pool of supply part-time lecturing staff in the curriculum area of Science. An essential requirement of this position centres on the delivery of Chemistry and Biology to a broad range of learners.

The successful applicant(s) will be an integral part of the team, responsible for developing current teaching materials, working within college quality systems, preparing assessment materials and supporting learners both in the classroom and through the role of group tutor when required.

Educated to degree level or equivalent in a relevant discipline and ideally holding a teaching qualification, you will have excellent communication skills, a flexible approach to work and crucially the drive and enthusiasm to inspire and motivate the learners in your class.

If successful Dundee and Angus College will help you to gain registration with the General Teaching Council Scotland (GTCS). The College will work with you and support you to achieve the qualifications and professional learning required for registration, you must be willing to undertake any training and development necessary to gain registration.
