Using Public Transport

Real Time Passenger Information’ screens are installed at the campuses in Alloa, Falkirk & Stirling giving up to date information on public transport stops closest to each campus.

All the Campuses are very close to public transport and Alloa and Falkirk Train Stations can be within walking distance (Alloa station is approximately a 7 minute walks; Falkirk High is approximately a 30 minute walk & Falkirk Grahamston is approximately a 20 minute walk)

Staff Benefits for Travel

The college has two Electric Cars available where, following a short training course, employees can book for work related travel.

We promote local Car Share Schemes which not only reduces the costs of travel but lets you get to know your colleagues better:

Employees may apply for a travel loan to pay for all or part of an annual season ticket, or other means of travelling to work which are in-keeping with the ethos of green transport. This includes:

  • Train Season Tickets.
  • Bus Season Tickets.
  • Parking permits for Bus/Train Stations as required.

We are a cycling friendly College and offer bike lockers to securely store your bike. Lockers for storing your equipment and shower facilities are also available.
