An exciting opportunity has arisen to work within the International Partnerships and Exchange team, the role holder’s main focus will be to support the University’s centrally-managed international mobility opportunities for students and staff.
The primary duties of the role will be to provide guidance and support for matters relating to study exchange and other international activities for students and staff. The role holder will also be expected to work closely with colleagues in support and academic departments throughout the University, overseas University representatives and key partner organisations.
The successful candidate will be educated to HNC/HND level or equivalent and will be an effective team player who can relate well/to a wide range of people, including international students and visitors. They will have a good understanding of the value and operational requirements of exchange programmes or study or work experience abroad. They will possess good IT skills to include the Microsoft Office package (experience of web maintenance, and social media would be desirable) and handling large amounts of data. The successful candidate will also have strong communication and organisational skills and the ability to multitask and work under pressure whilst maintaining close attention to detail in a busy environment.
