Bank Lecturer Professional Cookery

Hours: Bank (depending on Curriculum needs)

Salary: £35,170- £43,357 per annum pro-rata (dependent on experience)

West Lothian College are looking to appoint outstanding Bank Lecturers who will demonstrate the necessary commitment and enthusiasm to contribute to their team. Working within the friendly and knowledgeable team within the Business, Creative & Enterprise Faculty, you will be committed to the delivery of high-quality teaching and a varied learning experience, focussed on progression and employability.

Applications are invited for the position of Lecturer in Professional Cookery to contribute to the delivery and assessment of a range of courses from SCQF Level 4 to Level 7 in Professional Cookery. You will develop course materials for both online and face to face learning, work flexibly and collaborate effectively with other members of the college. 

Applicants should be qualified to a minimum of SCQF Level 8 but preferably to degree level or equivalent in a relevant discipline, a teaching/training qualification and lecturing experience within Professional Cookery is desirable.

Candidates that have been selected for interview will be required to deliver a 10 minute presentation and undertake a competency based interview.
