Technical Architect

Police Scotland Digital Division has embarked upon an ambitious programme to transform the Police Service incrementally over the next ten years in order to achieve our long-term vision of "sustained excellence in service and protection".

We are looking to recruit a Technical Solutions Architect to support a range of innovative developments. You will be valued for your contribution in terms of technical designs and solutions, enterprise architecture models and recommending solutions that fit with organisational goals, relevant legislation and ICT strategies under the direction of the Head of Service Delivery.

As a successful Technical Solutions Architect, you are required to be educated to degree level in a technical discipline (or equivalent) or have relevant experience including a wide range of technology, solution design technical standards, frameworks and tools, project management and technical service delivery.

This full time post is Temporary until 19th March 2023 and will require Management Vetting. You will work 35 hours per week Monday to Friday 9am – 5pm. The job can be based at any of our offices throughout Scotland as listed below;
