Would you like to join an organisation that is committed to delivering quality and affordable homes with excellent customer service? We recognise that by putting our tenants and customers’ voices at the heart of what we do, we can better support our goals of improving lives, homes and communities.

We are launching an exciting new initiative called Reach and Connect, a two-year project to build relationships with our customers and expand our support to our communities into the future, and are now looking for suitable candidates to help us move forward on this agenda.

Community Coach (Tenancy Sustainment)

Salary £23,767 to £28,961 FTE per annum (pro rata), Fixed Term for Two years, 21 hours per week (in a pattern to be agreed); (cost of living award pending)

Our aim is to ensure we equip our tenants with the knowledge and tools they need to help them manage their home independently. As a Community Coach you will provide housing-related advice and guidance to people who are experiencing housing issues and have additional vulnerabilities. You could be working with these incredible people to assist them with how to manage their tenancy and finances, as well as digital inclusion and wellbeing.

This is a rewarding and challenging role, and you may be faced with complex situations and difficult conversations, behaviours and needs. Therefore, you will need to be organised, well prepared and creative. You would be working with people who are faced with housing issues such as ASB, rent arrears, benefit issues, needing to downsize or struggling with other elements of their tenancy.

Our role is to undertake an assessment of their needs and to work with them to support them to achieve their goals through planning and accessing both internal and external services they can access.

Working as a Community Coach is an exciting opportunity because no two days are the same and you could really make a positive difference to someone’s life as you work together to prevent homelessness and support them with their goals.

We know that not all candidates will meet every single desired requirement. If your experience looks a little different from what we've identified and you think you can bring value to the role, we'd love to learn more about you, please go ahead and apply!
