Temporary Administration Officer

Central Scotland Valuation Joint Board covers the Clackmannanshire, Falkirk and Stirling Council areas. The Assessor for the Valuation Joint Board is responsible for compiling and maintaining the Valuation Roll for Non-Domestic Rates and the Valuation List for Council Tax. The Assessor is also the Electoral Registration Officer for three Councils (Falkirk, Stirling and Clackmannanshire) and in that capacity is responsible for maintaining the Register of Electors and Absent Vote Lists. The Board employs approximately 45 people and our office is at Glendevon House, Castle Business Park, Stirling, FK9 4TZ.

We are currently looking to recruit a temporary Administration Officer (full time) to assist our busy administration and valuation teams, initially until November 2024 with a possible extension to January 2025. Part time hours will be considered.

The Administration Officer will support the Assessor and Electoral Registration Officer with the production and maintenance of the Valuation Roll, List and Electoral Registers and processing of applications, including applications to vote by post.

You should possess at least four standard grades, which must include English & Maths. Applicants should exhibit attention to detail and be able to ensure accuracy in work produced.
