Who we are
Lothian Valuation Joint Board is an independent public authority that was established by The Valuation Joint Boards (Scotland) Order 1995.
What we do
Provide a professional valuation and electoral registration service for East Lothian, the City of Edinburgh, Midlothian and West Lothian Councils in respect of compilation and maintenance of the Valuation Roll, Valuation (Council Tax) List and Registers of Electors.

To provide high quality, effective and responsive services to all of our stakeholders.
The role
The successful candidate will be part of a team who provide a Customer Support function dealing with all Electoral Registration related enquiries and other associated tasks. You will be required to provide a telephone answering service, handling the majority of Electoral Registration enquiries received from members of the public, to respond to e-mail enquiries and undertake associated clerical duties. You should be able to demonstrate excellent communication skills and have experience with Microsoft Word and Excel packages. A full training programme will be provided.
