Addiewell Combined Schools consists of Addiewell Primary School, Addiewell Early Years and St Thomas’ Primary School. Addiewell Primary School is a non-denominational school with a roll of 120 pupils in the primary school and 46 pupils in the nursery. St Thomas’ Primary is a denominational school with 24 pupils. The schools are staffed by a skilled and motivated team of teaching and non-teaching staff, working together to support and challenge learners across the schools.
We are looking for an enthusiastic, hardworking and reliable individual to join our team in ensuring the provision of an efficient & effective clerical support service to St Thomas’ Primary and Addiewell Primary and ELC. Previous school-based experience would be desirable.
The main duties will include the organisation of lunches, ordering and invoicing school supplies using school-based systems along with other daily admin duties including enrolment, filing and dealing with enquiries. You will also be a main point of contact for our parents/carers ensuring good communication and confidentiality.
This post is considered Regulated Work with Vulnerable Children and/or Protected Adults, under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007. Successful candidates will be required to join the Scheme or undergo a PVG Scheme Update check prior to commencing employment and the cost will be met by the candidate.
